You can find all of my non-overlay custom Steam images on SteamGridDB, and some on the Steam Banners Booru. The SteamGridDB collections linked below might not contain every overlay, as I'm trying not to flood the site with too many overlays at once.
These overlays have been designed to resemble the diagonal banner that appears in the corner of Steam "heroes" for Steam game demos.
If you'd like to use these yourself, you can download them with the links below. You can download them as either PNGs or a PSD file and apply them to grid images using your preferred image editing software. Feel free to use the PSD as a template to create your own banners and share them around. Credit isn't a requirement, but would be appreciated.

In addition to overlays for vertical grid images, I've also made some overlays for horizontal images in the style of official Steam banners. You can find links for those below. (Note: The example image here is out of date. See the newest versions for yourself with the links.)

My overlays on Steam Banners Booru
For a number of classic Id Software games, as well as mods, and other boomer shooters by different developers, I've created some Steam capsules that resemble the box art of some of the official releases of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, with large black borders around the main artwork. I've also thrown together some icons that can be used to differentiate between various sourceports.
After I'd made enough of them, I decided against flooding SteamGridDB with every possible combination of game/mod, developer and sourceport, so below you can find a link to a PSD, so you can make your own images out of these combinations, as well as links to some pre-made ones, and a SteamGridDB collection which also includes some without sourceport icons that weren't made by me. Keep in mind that the latter won't always be perfectly uniform with the ones made with my template.
Some of the examples on this page include capsules found in the collection linked below, with my sourceport icons added. Note that changes to the PSD may not always be reflected on SteamGridDB.
